1. ‘Isola’ means ‘island’ in Italian. I like to think that in every little frosted glass bottle of Isola skincare and haircare, there’s an island-inspired glow to be shared! Every Isola product shares one mandatory ingredient: Pacific coast sea kelp (macro-kelp, also known as macrocystis). Sustainably sourced from the north coastal waters of Vancouver Island, our sea kelp is full of rich, youth-infusing anti-oxidants
   
2. Isola products are full of plants! We infuse our oils with herbs that we grow ourselves in our soulful greenhouse in the beautiful prairies of Alberta, Canada. We also have five perennial gardens that we carefully manage to produce healthy herbs and edible flowers, berries, roots and leaves.
   
3. Our infusions are made with organic, sustainably sourced, vegan carrier oils. We love low-comedogenic oil blends as the bases for our skincare and haircare: this means that our products are great for sensitive skin as they are unlikely to block pores or cause breakouts. They absorb quickly, leaving no greasy appearance or residue. We love to blend organic oils including sweet almond oil, virgin coconut oil, grapeseed oil, sea buckthorn seed oil, rosehip seed oil, argan oil and more to create a well-balanced, healing skincare or haircare treatment.
   
4. Our product recipes are created by me! I’m an Herbalist and Iridologist, focusing on using traditional Herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicinal remedies to ensure that the desired result of using Isola skincare and haircare is achieved. Whether it be to bring to the skin an island-vacation glow, to give a more youthful skin tone and texture, or to reduce scarring and redness, and promote healing, each of our products has a unique remedy for your individual skincare and haircare needs.
