This refreshing daily use face oil is an all-in-one moisturizer and primer. Made with north pacific sea kelp, Alberta-grown pineapple sage and anti-aging goji seed & seabuckthorn seed oils, it is the perfect base for use underneath makeup, or it can be worn alone as an illuminating hydrator. Its calming vanilla essence will make your senses and your skin look forward to your morning skincare routine! A 1oz vial lasts approximately three months with daily use.

To Use: Apply a small amount to the face and neck using the fingertips. Oil will quickly absorb to leave your skin glowing and refreshed. Use alone or under foundation.

Skincare Island-Style
Cleanse the face using water or your favourite gentle cleanser. (For our favourite cleansers, click here) Spritz our Isola Sea Kelp & Oceanside Botanicals Hydrating Facial Toner directly onto the face, or if you prefer, onto a cotton pad and swipe the face with smooth, soft strokes. Next, drop a dime-sized amount of Isola Lumiére du Jour: Daytime Primer & Moisturizer onto the palm of one hand, and rub the hands together, warming the oil. Pat the oil into the skin of the face, down the neck and onto the décolleté. Optional: roll the oil into the skin using a rose quartz or jade facial massage roller.
Isola Lumiere du Jour: Daytime Primer & Moisturizer is gentle enough to pat lightly around the eyes, and directly onto the lips. The low-comedogenic value of this oil allows it to absorb into the skin in under two minutes time, leaving no ‘greasy’ residue, and leaving the skin feeling refreshed and hydrated.
If the skin is damaged or extremely dry, follow the Isola Lumiére du Jour: Daytime Primer & Moisturizer with a light daytime lotion, or spritz the face with a hyaluronic acid toner. We recommend following your daytime skincare routine with a sun-protectant of SPF 30.
Hydrate the lips using our Beach Salve or Gigi’s Kiss Lip Butter, and hydrate the body with a tall glass of cool or room-temperature water before bed. For extra-gentle luxury for the skin and hair, sleep on a silk pillowcase.

I use the Lumiére du Jour as a moisturizer for my oily skin every day in the morning after cleansing and a spritz of a nice toner or mineral water spray. It absorbs quickly and works great as a primer under my foundation or sunscreen.

Heyo I picked up a bottle of this goodness a couple weeks back. I was hesitant to put an oil on my acne prone skin but I went for it anyways. I use other idols products so I trust this brand and the quality of the products. I gotta say… So far my skin looks and feels great. It’s helped to diminish the size and the redness of some of my deeper acne. My skin feels hydrated and not oily. So far so good. I’m really liking this product. 10/10
