S U M M E R
We’re 1/3 of the way through Summer here in the Northern Hemisphere, and our weather hasn’t been its typical warm and dry. Instead, it’s been dreamy, misty mornings and rainfall sporadically. We haven’t had to water the lawns or gardens, and there’s a dewiness to the air that I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced in Alberta.
While this amount of rain has stressed some local farmers who are praying to get their crops nice and dry for harvest, for horse-people like myself its been lovely to watch my big boys enjoying the fresh grass that’s growing every day without turning them out to summer pasture.
This summer has already been the best summer that I’ve ever had as a small business owner. I’ve had a long list of clients-turned-new-friends keeping my consultation schedule full, and I’ve had more Isola orders than ever in combination with our incredible retail partnership with Harmonic Arts herbal remedies.
Our newest product is a pretty new lip balm made with local honey, and chamomile and lavender grown in organic soil in my lovely greenhouse.
